Best park ever, must visit. Lots of trees and water canals. Gorgeous scenery. May encounter squirrels and raccoons. Great for bike riding. Walking distance from your stay.
Greynolds Park in North Miami Beach is a beautiful large park to roam in, chill or picnic and there’s nice wildlife and the Oleta river goes through it. Dogs on leash only - for the dog park see East Greynolds.
Greynolds Park is an urban park in North Miami Beach that was once a 249 acre rock quarry. Today, it has a relatively intact hardwood hammock and mangrove forest. This well preserved nature area was once home to the Tequesta Indians and, later, Seminole Indians and now eco-tours are offered of the rookery, mangrove boardwalk, observation mound, paved path and historical boathouse. There are rentals available to explore including canoes, kayaks and paddleboats and volleyball courts.
