Fun to travel from Balboa island and the Peninsula on the Auto ferry. Nostalgic and fun to be out on the water. You can travel by car, as a pedestrian, or on a bicycle.

Over 100 years old. Holds 3 cars. Go either way to/from Balboa Island/Newport Beach peninsula. Great fun.

A fun ride across the Bay to Balboa Island! Have a frozen banana, enjoy the galleries and so much more!

I absolutely love this ferry!! You can drive your car, bike or walk onto! You get a whole view of the Harbor while crossing and during summer months get to avoid the bumper to bumper traffic down the peninsula. There are numerous parking lots directly across from the ferry on peninsula side and is less than 4 miles from the boat!
