Docent led tours every W & F at 1030 $10 adults, $5 seniors. Thousands of visitors come to Marin County each year to see the futuristic Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Marin County Civic Center. It was Wright’s last major commission and is one of the famed architect’s most distinctive designs. It is now a national and state historic landmark.

San Rafael is home to the landmark Marin County Civic Center, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Thursday and Sunday mornings, the Civic Center hosts one of California's largest farmers' markets, with local produce, fish, dairy, honey, and more. It's also a center for major traveling theatre, dance, and music programs.

The Civic Center features a huge man-made pond, inhabited by ducks, geese and other waterfowl, a lovely park, a pétanque court, a children's playground and the historic, Frank Lloyd Wright designed Civic Center.
