The Joshua Tree park entrance in Yucca Valley with hiking trails but no car access to the park.
This is one of our favorite places to hike. It's great because: - Do not have to wait in a really long line of cars. - Beautiful trails. - Don’t have to buy a camping pass or park pass to get in. Only downside is there are no rocks to climb. The hiking is great though.
Variety of hiking trails that overlook the desert valley. 12 intermediate trails and 3 difficult trails through desert vegetation that ascend through desert ridges with breathtaking valley overlooks.
