It’s relaxing to run on this elevated path that’s similar to the High Line in New York City because you feel like you’re not in the city anymore. You can hear the cars and people below on avenue Daumesnil, but since you are above them, they are not in your way. Enjoy the plants and flowers along the way! There are several entry and exit stairways along the route, so you can choose the stretch you like. I start at the beginning, near Bastille, and run all the way to Bois de Vincennes, which is about 4K.

An unique green road transformed from old train track linking central Paris from Bastille to Vincennes forest, if you want a promonade or morning run, it's the best place to go. The appartment locates in the middle of the road

Paris' secret park in the sky, I suggest stocking up on produce at the Bastille markets, then joining up with the Promenade Plantée and walking along it before having a picnic at Jardin de Reuilly - Paul Pernin (which has sparkling water coming out of the drinking fountain!)

Paris' answer to the New York Highline (although, Paris did it first, and arguably does it better...sorry NYC). So many shades of green, little birds, roses and jonquils and anything else you may imagine from a Parisian Eden. Pop up here for a wander, watch local runners getting in some miles during their lunch breaks, and finish with a picnic at Porte de Vincennes.
