This area park is very close to our property, within walking distance. If you want a short hike or prefer a structured track, both are present. Special events occur seasonally including the Marine Corps Mud Run, Touch a Truck, Kite Festival and many more. Horse shows and other equestrian events also can be seen on many weekends.

Large park located on the Roanoke River. Great place to walk, put in a kayak, large playground and they often host festivals like the kite festival or Medieval Faire.
